Nicola, Gudbranson & Cooper LLC grows, expands office by 40 percent

CLEVELAND—To accommodate past and future growth, the law firm of Nicola, Gudbranson & Cooper LLC has added 40 percent more office space in Landmark Office Towers. The firm has also redecorated and remodeled parts of its original space, on the 14th floor of Landmark's Republic Building.

Nicola, Gudbranson & Cooper plans to add at least five more attorneys and additional support staff, said L. James Juliano Jr., firm member and member of its management committee. The firm has recently grown to 22 lawyers and 11 other staff members, including two paralegals.

"We look forward to the next phase of growth and are committed to downtown Cleveland," said Juliano. "When we outgrew our space, we were fortunate to be able to expand in the Landmark complex." The firm occupies 18,000 square feet, including the additional 5,200 square feet in Landmark's adjoining Guildhall Building.

"Our firm is always looking for excellent attorneys who have developed a client base that would benefit from our expertise in client service and efficient operation," said Juliano. "We offer top-notch infrastructure, including support staff, computer and phone systems, with an overhead factor that compares favorably with anyone in town."

One of the benefits of the location is that it is within convenient walking distance of federal and state courts, not to mention Cleveland's professional sports and convention venues and a variety of restaurants, said Juliano. The firm has been in Landmark since 1997.

Founded in 1933, Nicola, Gudbranson & Cooper's practice centers around general counsel services for businesses and individuals, providing expertise in specific areas that clients require. Those consist of transactional and litigation matters across a wide range of disciplines, including business and corporate law, employment law, construction, entertainment and sports law, real estate, public sector practice, school law, family law, executive compensation and employee benefits matters and estate planning, trust and probate administration.
